One of Norfolk’s biggest music events is set to return this summer as Junction 42 heads back to Earlham Park on Saturday 27 June 2026 for what promises to be an even bigger celebration of dance music, community and festival culture.
Following a hugely successful debut, the Norwich-born festival is returning with four dedicated stages, an expanded line-up and thousands of music lovers expected to descend on Earlham Park for eight hours of non-stop entertainment. Bringing together some of the biggest names in Drum & Bass, UK Garage, R&B and Club Anthems, Junction 42 has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting additions to Norfolk’s events calendar.
Running from 2pm until 10pm, the festival will once again transform the popular Norwich park into a vibrant outdoor music destination, welcoming festival-goers from across the region for a day packed with basslines, nostalgia and unforgettable summer energy.
What makes Junction 42 particularly special is its strong local roots. Born and built in Norwich, the festival was created to celebrate the sounds that have shaped UK nightlife culture while bringing together people from all backgrounds through a shared love of music.
That sense of community played a huge role in the success of the inaugural event, and organisers are hoping to build on that momentum with an even bigger experience in 2026.
Music remains firmly at the heart of the festival, with four stages catering to a variety of tastes. Drum & Bass fans are particularly well catered for this year, with the Touchbase D&B Stage featuring an impressive line-up of established artists and rising stars.
Leading the charge is A.M.C, widely regarded as one of the most technically gifted Drum & Bass DJs in the world. Known for his high-energy performances and rapid-fire mixing style, his appearance is expected to be one of the standout moments of the day. Joining him is crowd favourite Mozey, whose unique blend of production and live performance has helped make him one of the scene’s most recognisable names.
Also appearing on the D&B stage are [ivy], Amplify, Comma Dee, Crossy b2b Gray, XL, FMS, Rendag & B Live 247, Skantia and Pinx-Avire, creating a line-up packed with talent from across the Drum & Bass spectrum.
Garage fans have plenty to look forward to as well. The popular Garage Nation Stage will feature some of the genre’s most iconic names, including DJ Luck & MC Neat and So Solid member Lisa Maffia alongside Romeo. Their appearance is sure to bring plenty of nostalgia for those who grew up with UK Garage dominating the charts and dancefloors.
Festival organisers have also confirmed that a special guest is still to be announced for the Garage Nation Stage, adding even more anticipation ahead of the event.
Alongside the Drum & Bass and Garage stages, Junction 42 is expanding its musical offering with two brand-new areas dedicated to R&B and Club Anthems. While full line-ups are still to be revealed, the addition of these stages reflects the festival’s ambition to appeal to an even wider audience and create a soundtrack that spans multiple generations and musical tastes.
Beyond the music, attendees can expect the atmosphere that helped make the first event such a success. Festival-goers will have access to a variety of food and drink options throughout the site, while VIP ticket holders can enjoy additional benefits including queue jump access, a dedicated VIP bar, premium toilet facilities and seating areas.
The setting of Earlham Park once again provides the perfect backdrop. Located close to the heart of Norwich, the expansive green space offers plenty of room for multiple stages, food vendors and festival facilities while maintaining the relaxed atmosphere that outdoor music events do so well.
As summer festivals continue to grow in popularity across the UK, Junction 42 has carved out a distinctive identity by combining major artists with local pride and a genuine sense of community. Rather than trying to replicate larger national festivals, it has focused on creating an event that reflects Norwich and the people who attend it.
That approach appears to be resonating. With a strong first year behind it and an even bigger event planned for 2026, Junction 42 is quickly becoming one of the standout dates in Norfolk’s summer events calendar.
