Suffield Summer Fiesta Returns with Three Days of Live Music, Food and Festival Vibes This August
Music lovers are in for a treat this summer as the Suffield Summer Fiesta returns for its second year, bringing an exciting weekend of live performances, great food and a relaxed festival atmosphere to one of North Norfolk’s most unique pub gardens.
Taking place from 14 to 16 August 2026 at The Suffield Arms in Gunton, the three-day event promises an expanded line-up following the success of its inaugural festival last year. Set in the picturesque gardens of the popular country pub, the Fiesta combines outstanding live music with quality food and drink, creating a memorable summer experience for visitors from across Norfolk and beyond.
Inspired by The Suffield Arms’ much-loved Sunday Sessions, which have become a regular highlight of the local music calendar, the Summer Fiesta has quickly established itself as one of the county’s standout boutique music events. With growing demand, organisers have expanded the programme for 2026, welcoming an impressive selection of nationally recognised artists alongside local favourites.
Leading this year’s line-up is legendary bassist and songwriter Jah Wobble. Best known as a founding member of Public Image Ltd (PiL), Wobble has built an acclaimed career spanning post-punk, world music and experimental sounds. Festivalgoers can look forward to a special set celebrating music from across his career, including songs from PiL and The Invaders of the Heart.
Joining him is acclaimed British band Little Barrie, fronted by renowned guitarist Barrie Cadogan. Known for blending blues, soul and rock influences, the band has earned widespread praise over the years. Cadogan has also performed alongside artists including Primal Scream, The The, Liam Gallagher, Paul Weller and The Black Keys, while many television viewers will recognise his work as the composer of the iconic Better Call Saul theme.
Returning after becoming one of last year’s biggest talking points is Bob Log. The eccentric one-man performer is known for his energetic stage presence, distinctive slide guitar playing and motorcycle helmet microphone setup. His unforgettable performance at the first Fiesta proved to be one of the festival’s standout moments, making his return highly anticipated.
Adding even more energy to the weekend are The Courettes, the Brazilian-Danish garage rock duo whose explosive live shows have won fans across Europe. Fresh from supporting The Damned at Wembley Arena, they will bring their signature blend of vintage rock and modern attitude to the Suffield stage.
The festival will also showcase a wealth of additional talent throughout the weekend. Acts including Lassie, Dean Chalkley & Si Cheeba, Marc Valentine, Big Steve Arlene, Harlem Slim, SNAKEMILK, Black Magick Caravan and Arthur Black will perform across the three days, ensuring there is something for every musical taste.
Representing Norfolk’s thriving music scene are The Neutrinos, whose experimental performances and unique artistic style have earned them an international following. Their appearance further highlights the festival’s commitment to celebrating both established artists and regional talent.
While music remains at the heart of the event, visitors can also look forward to excellent food and drink throughout the weekend. The Suffield Arms has earned an excellent reputation for its Mediterranean-inspired menu, and for the Fiesta the dining experience once again moves outdoors into the pub’s beautiful gardens. Organisers have confirmed that additional food vendors will also be announced, creating a high-quality outdoor dining experience to complement the entertainment.
One of the event’s most distinctive features is its accessibility. Gunton railway station sits directly opposite The Suffield Arms, allowing visitors travelling on the Bittern Line between Norwich and Sheringham to arrive by train without needing to drive. Extensive on-site parking is also available for those travelling by car, making the festival easy to reach from across the region.
Entertainment will continue into the evening across all three days. Live music will run until 11pm on both Friday and Saturday, with the final train departing at 11.40pm. On Sunday, live performances conclude at 9.30pm before DJs continue the celebrations until 11pm. Train services are scheduled to depart at 10.04pm and 11.06pm, allowing visitors to enjoy the evening before heading home.
Combining a carefully curated music programme, excellent food, a beautiful countryside setting and convenient transport links, the Suffield Summer Fiesta offers something a little different from larger commercial festivals.
