Bring some festive cheer to your season at The Assembly House as Caroline from La Belle Flowers returns for a series of heart-warming wreath-making workshops in the elegant Music Room. Known for creating the venue’s famous Christmas decorations, Caroline will guide participants in crafting their very own eco-friendly wreaths using lush seasonal greenery and natural, recyclable materials.
The workshops are designed to be hands-on and joyful, offering a chance to relax, get creative, and soak up the festive atmosphere. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of warming mulled wine or spiced apple juice and a selection of seasonal nibbles, including roast turkey and stuffing bridge rolls, sausage or squashage rolls, Norfolk rarebit, parmesan and pistachio shortbread, and cheese straws. Sweet treats such as mince pies, Black Forest cupcakes, and Baileys cheesecake shots complete the indulgence. Gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options are also available.
Six sessions are available across three dates: Tuesday 25 November, Tuesday 2 December, and Tuesday 9 December. Afternoon workshops run from 2.30pm to 5pm, with evening sessions from 6pm to 8.30pm. Each session may finish earlier if your wreath is complete, letting you leave with your festive creation ready to hang on your door.
Caroline will guide participants through the entire process, from selecting the greenery to assembling and decorating the wreath. Even beginners can leave with something truly special, with professional tips and inspiration along the way. The eco-friendly approach ensures your wreath is not only beautiful but sustainable, crafted from natural and recyclable materials.
The workshops are perfect for friends catching up before Christmas, families starting a new festive tradition, or anyone looking to enjoy a cosy, creative afternoon in Norwich’s most festive setting. The Music Room, decked with sparkling decorations, the scent of pine, and the sounds of the season, provides a magical backdrop for this seasonal activity.
Tickets are £72 per person, which includes all materials, a full tutorial, a festive buffet, and a welcome drink. Places are limited to 25 per session, ensuring a friendly, intimate atmosphere. Booking is essential and can be made by calling 01603 626402 to avoid EventBrite fees. Guests are asked not to arrive more than ten minutes before their session begins.
