A Norfolk clothing brand has seen demand soar after one of its charity hoodies was worn by Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan.
Whale of a Time Clothing, based in West Acre near Swaffham, launched the hoodie to raise funds for The Yellow Wellies Campaign, an initiative run by the Farm Safety Foundation to promote physical safety and mental health awareness among young farmers.
The photo of Cowan wearing the hoodie on social media sparked a wave of interest, leading to several sizes selling out.

Ellie Wales, owner of Whale of a Time, said the response was overwhelming and credited Cowan’s support as a major boost for the campaign. As a farmer herself, Cowan’s endorsement resonated strongly with the agricultural community and helped raise awareness of the cause.
Each year, Whale of a Time selects a charity to support, with 100% of profits from the featured product donated during October. The Yellow Wellies Campaign was chosen this year because of its relevance to the brand’s rural roots and commitment to supporting farming communities.
The team at Whale of a Time hopes that the campaign will help fund safety training and mental health initiatives for young farmers across the UK.
Cowan, a 24-year-old from Derbyshire, appeared in series four of Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s Farm as a temporary farmhand for Jeremy Clarkson. Her Instagram post to over half a million followers has already helped spread the campaign’s message far and wide.
Wales said the team is delighted by the reaction and remains focused on raising as much money as possible for the Farm Safety Foundation.
